Emergency: Dial (000) triple zero

In an emergency dial 000 (triple zero) or go directly to Ballina Hospital.

For some problems such as chest pain, suspected stroke, severe abdominal pain or breathing difficulty it is best to dial 000 and proceed to hospital by ambulance. Other conditions such as severe lacerations or suspected fractures are often better evaluated in the hospital Emergency Department than in General Practice.

Some of our doctors are Visiting Medical Officers at Ballina Hospital and attend to their own in-patients.
